AMECO CEO Gary Bernardez

Gary Bernardez

Chief Executive Officer

Gary Bernardez returned to AMECO as chief executive officer in May 2021. He previously served as president of AMECO from 2000 to 2014, followed by chief operating officer of Brundage-Bone Concrete Pumping and an independent consultancy role performing acquisition advisory services.

Mr. Bernardez has more than 36 years of experience serving capital construction project owners, contractors, and ongoing plant operators in the oil, gas, chemicals, mining, power, biotech, manufacturing, and infrastructure end markets. His tenure in the industry includes expertise in project execution, construction, risk management, operations, business development, strategy, information technology, acquisitions, and corporate administration.

He has participated in various executive management programs, including the Wharton School, London School of Business, and the Thunderbird International School of Management. Active in professional and civic organizations, Mr. Bernardez is an executive committee member of the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina. He previously served as chairman of the Greenville (SC) Humane Society board of directors, chairman of the board for Junior Achievement of Upstate South Carolina District, board member for the Blind Children’s Learning Center, and as a volunteer for the YMCA.

Mr. Bernardez holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Clemson University.

AMECO Chief Financial Officer Tasu Adamjee

Tasu Adamjee

Chief Financial Officer

Tasu Adamjee serves as chief financial officer (CFO) of AMECO. As CFO, Mr. Adamjee leads AMECO’s accounting, financial planning and analysis, audit, corporate insurance, and risk management functions.

Since joining AMECO in 1996, Mr. Adamjee has held various financial and operations leadership positions of progressive responsibility supporting construction and maintenance projects in North America and internationally. He previously held several portfolio assignments, including acquisition and transitioning of a family business into the AMECO corporate structure, project manager for enterprise resource planning (ERP) system selection and implementation, implementation of balanced scorecard, and growth strategy development.

Mr. Adamjee graduated from the University of Calgary with a double concentration in Accounting and Operations and Management. He holds a professional accounting designation from Canada as a Certified Professional/Management Accountant (CPA/CMA).

AMECO Chief Operations Officer Dan RichDan Rich

Chief Operations Officer

Dan Rich returned to AMECO as chief commercial officer in June 2021. Mr. Rich has more than 30 years of experience supporting the engineering, procurement, construction, and construction management (EPCM) industry in execution of capital construction projects. At AMECO and beyond, he has held key leadership roles responsible for the development of construction indirect solutions for owners and contractors on large scale projects from conception to completion in North America and internationally. Before rejoining AMECO, Mr. Rich most recently served as senior construction manager over indirect project costs on a $6 billion megaproject with a major engineering and construction firm working in the energy industry.

Chief Supply Chain Officer

Chris Arnold leads AMECO’s supply chain and technology organization. Mr. Arnold joined AMECO in 2012 and has over 30 years of experience in the construction equipment industry, including more than 13 years of international operations experience. He has held roles in strategic development, operations management, sales and marketing, business integration, supply chain, product development, and general management.

Mr. Arnold holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and a master’s degree in Management from Purdue University.

Chief Engagement Officer

With more than 25 years of experience in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) industry, Sheri is the Chief Engagement officer at AMECO. The Engagement team is responsible for human resources, corporate communications, marketing, and sales enablement. She uses her skills in project coordination, project planning, risk analysis and mitigation, procurement, contract management, and servant leadership to foster engagement and strengthen AMECO’s internal and external relationships.

Ms. Ware holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the University of South Carolina

Vice President, Government & Strategic Accounts

With decades of experience in strategic sales management, business administration and, and global account management, Paul Randall Camp serves as a leader in AMECO’s business development team as Vice President for government and strategic accounts. As an avowed “possibilitarian,” Mr. Camp is passionate about creating and supercharging sales strategies and sales teams.

Mr. Camp holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Economics from State University of New York at Freedonia, and an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology, as well as extensive executive and leadership training.

AMECO Corporate Vice President of Supply Chain. Dan Grosskopf, CPSM, CPSD, CSSBB

Vice President, Supply Chain

Dan Grosskopf serves as the Corporate Vice President of Supply Chain for AMECO. He joined AMECO in 2021 and has served various supply chain roles. Before AMECO, Mr. Grosskopf held various supply chain and purchasing roles with BorgWarner, Taylor Devices, and Volvo Construction Equipment.

Mr. Grosskopf holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. In addition, he holds certifications in supplier diversity and is a certified professional in supply management through the Institute for Supply Management.

Vice President of Integrated Scaffold Solutions Jim TaylorJim Taylor

Vice President, Integrated Scaffold Solutions

Jim Taylor has extensive experience in the construction and EPC industries and leads the sales and operations team behind AMECO’s Integrated Scaffold Solutions. In addition to leadership roles at AMECO, Mr. Taylor has held project management and operations roles in ENR 400 EPC firms.

Mr. Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State Univeristy and an MBA from Louisiana State University.

Morgan Tiller

Vice President, Finance

AMECO Vice President of Finance Morgan Tiller has served various finance and operational leadership roles in the construction, manufacturing, and logistics industries for nearly two decades. He joined AMECO in 2010 after nearly four years with an ENR 400 EPC firm.

Mr. Tiller holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Presbyterian College, and an MBA from Georgia State University.
