National Safety Council Recognizes AMECO and CEO Gary Bernardez for Safety Leadership

Safety is an AMECO core value. It should be no surprise, then, that The National Safety Council named AMECO CEO Gary Bernardez as one of the 2026 class of CEOs “Who Get It.” 

Each year the NSC selects a small group of leaders who go above and beyond to prioritize worker safety. This recognition is a huge honor for Gary, but as he would be the first to tell you, it is also a testament to the hard work every AMECO employee does every day to keep our job sites safe.
