Construction Safety Week 2025

Construction Safety Week  kicks off today.  AMECO is proud to join the entire industry in celebrating our commitment to sending every worker home safely.

This year’s CSW theme is “All In Together: Plan-Own-Commit.” This works in harmony with AMECO’s culture and aligns with our Mission and Core Values.

Safety is a bond that unites us. It’s our connection with each other, and to something bigger than ourselves. When there’s trust, respect, and communication, everyone can own and act on safety. That’s how we can break the patterns that lead to accidents and injuries, strengthen our connections, and create more opportunities to improve our safety culture. This week, the AMECO team is focusing on three main areas that unite us all in safety:

  • Planning with Precision – Begin and End Safe Onsite every day

Effective Planning ensures that the workers have the tools, skills, and knowledge to do the job safely and efficiently. High preforming teams start every day and operation with a strong plan that considers every aspect of every task. Sites must ensure safety planning is collaborative and involves manager/supervisors, individual workers, and HSE representatives.

  • Own Your Part in our Safety success

It’s important that everyone accepts a greater level of responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others. Everyone shares ownership and responsibility for the plan, knows their part, keeps everyone on track and recognizes when anything changes that can impact the execution and safety of the plan. When every team member takes responsibility for identifying risks and taking corrective actions, it fosters a culture of accountability.

  • Committing to Excellence

The safety, quality, and outcomes of our work improve when everyone involved feels a sense of ownership. Everyone must be all in, own their part, and set the bar to perform with pride together every day.
