In Guinea, West Africa, AMECO provided construction equipment rental as well as maintenance and equipment warranty support at the Simandou iron ore mine.

AMECO is dedicated to improving the communities in which our employees live and work. From food and toy drives to disaster support and service activities, our teams support this mission globally.

In Maputo, Mozambique, ServiTrade has a history of supporting a local orphanage by providing a monthly donation of rice to help feed nearly 150 children. ServiTrade also provides additional support services, including technical support and spare parts to support the orphanage’s agricultural machinery. ServiTrade also sponsors several community soccer teams in Matola and Tete.

AMECO Middle East was established in 2003 to support Government reconstruction projects in Iraq where we provided nearly 1,000 pieces of equipment, including pick-up trucks and material handling vehicles, to support government operations on a rapid response basis. In 2010, we expanded into Afghanistan where we provided several hundred trucks and vehicles to support a government contractor.

From 2003 to present day, AMECO’s portfolio has grown to include provision of fleet management and maintenance services to a diverse client base, including the U.S Federal Government, National Governments and private contractors. Specific services included rapid response fleet deployment, equipment rentals, preventive maintenance and repairs, logistics, spare parts supply and warranty administration.

In 2012, we expanded our offering into Mozambique: ServiTradeSM, an AMECO company, provides fully operated and maintained equipment, camp services, transportation, and batch plant services to the infrastructure, mining, oil and gas, and power industries throughout Mozambique.

In addition to asset management services, ServiTrade, in partnership with the National Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (INEFP), operates a training center for heavy equipment operators. This training center is the first of its kind in Mozambique.

ServiTrade's operational headquarters is located in Maputo with additional sites in Beira, Tete, Pemba and Palma.
